FAMILY ART SATURDAY: WHOOP DEE MASKS @ Utah Museum of Contemporary Art
Feb 9 @ 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
FAMILY ART SATURDAY: WHOOP DEE MASKS @ Utah Museum of Contemporary Art | Salt Lake City | Utah | United States

Whoop Dee Doo is a theatrical art experience that encourages youth across the country to take ownership of their own creativity through immersive, interactive performances. The dreamlike costumes and set pieces on display in the education gallery originate from humble materials like butcher paper, tape and cardboard. Using a variety of media, bring to life your own memorable character mask that can transport you to the world of Whoop Dee Doo.

UMOCA invites children of all ages and their families to discover our changing exhibitions and participate together in hands-on art making activities led by a trained educator. Each activity connects to a brand new idea, medium or theme explored by an artist currently exhibited in the museum. Projects are suitable from toddler to tween in a wide range of abilities.

Family Art Saturday is offered free of charge.
Museum admission is a $5 suggested donation to help support our programming.
