The ALL FOR ART // ART FOR ALL campaign seeks 85 art enthusiasts willing to donate $500 each, in honor of UMOCA’s 85th birthday.

What would the art world be like if Duchamp never had four walls to show within? If artists weren’t supported as the DADA movement stole the Parisian spotlight and stuck it firmly in New York? What will resonate in the future and become the post-2000’s genre? The evolution of art as we know it continues and UMOCA is part of the greater global contemporary conversation. What’s more, we are fostering talent and inspiring those around us. UMOCA’s passion for art that pushes boundaries, explores current issues, and experiments with new ideas, mediums, and trends hasn’t changed since Alta Jensen first envisioned this institution 85 years ago. In fact, with the support of our community, it’s expanding.

UMOCA’s exhibitions and programs foster ideas and innovation while encouraging discussion and advocacy. Utah’s art community has never been stronger and UMOCA provides a place for professional development and exposure. In our six galleries, visitors to the museum can experience the ever-evolving ideas that permeate the human experience. Our objective will forever be to express what is relevant, experimental, and stimulating, but we need your individual support to help us expand this mission into the future.

Contemporary art must be accessible by all, that is achieved by the support of all.

The 85 advocates who give at the $500 level will receive membership benefits and special recognition on UMOCA’s website and in front of the Museum. Add your name to the list of those creating a thriving cultural core in our city.
