Art Fitness: A Contemporary Art Training Regimen
October Art Fitness is Sure to Build Contemporary Art Six-Pack
OCT 25 | 11-1:30 pm
Salt Lake City, UT – The Utah Museum of Contemporary Art (UMOCA) is happy to announce another Art Fitness training session available to everyone from beginners looking to get in on the game, to professional art body builders and everyone in-between.
Art Fitness is an innovative art-education program that provides Utahns the opportunity to learn the skills they need to grasp contemporary art concepts and to flex their art muscles at museums and private collections everywhere.
With a training regimen that focuses on the power works of UMOCA’s current exhibitions Bikuben and William Lamson: Hydrologies, participants will be whipped into shape by building and defining muscle mass. No need to consult a doctor about past injuries, UMOCA coaches will work intensely with each trainee to develop confidence and strength in the ability to understand, respond to and consider contemporary art.
Art Fitness Training is designed for adults. For class details and other pertinent information, email Curator of Outreach and Public Programs, Jared Steffensen. The workout will be held at the museum October 25th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Admission is a $15 Suggested Donation
