Squatters: Introducing a Free Side of Art

Salt Lake City, UT – Organized by the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art (UMOCA), new murals by artists Trent Call, Mackinzie Donovan, Richard Landvatter and Mike Murdock now adorn the east side of Squatters Brewery in commemoration of Squatters 25 years of beer.  These artists have been sweating in the summer sun over the last week to present you with a delectable challenge: decide what your favorite mural is and vote on it.

The most popular artists’ mural will be featured on the beer label for a limited edition 25th Anniversary brew and 25th Anniversary Squatters t-shirt. Everyone is invited to cast their ballot inside the pub or on UMOCA’s Facebook fan page.

Call Donovan Landvatter Murdock

“From playful to technical, each artists’ mural represents their take on the celebration of Squatters 25 years of brewing in Utah,” says UMOCA’s  Curator of Education Jared Steffensen. “It is exciting to see this talent on a large scale, there’s no telling who will win.”

Voting is open now and will close July 15.

UMOCA and Squatters would like to thank Layton Construction for providing supplies and equipment.
